THE EXCHANGED LIFE

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. [Galatians 2:20]
When we embrace the truth that the only way to live the Christian life is to let the Holy Spirit live Christ’s life through us, and make a commitment to God, to surrender all that self wants and seek only what He wants; once we make this exchange, we will experience more of the freedom and joy Jesus promised to His followers. Spiritual growth is a process that requires the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, and our cooperation. So let me ask you this question! How willing are you to grow? You think about that.

BITS & PIECES

The genuine can be tested and God uses time, circumstances, and opportunity to test people.
Be as mindful of motives and attitudes as you are of your public behavior.
The benefits of prayer are many, but greatest of all is the joy derived from spending more time with the Lord.
If we recognize that God is in control and guiding our future for good, then we will not stay discouraged for long.
You may not understand the purpose for your trials, but remember that God does nothing without a divine purpose motivated by His matchless unconditional love.

SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION

If we want to walk in freedom, joy, and faithfulness to Christ, we must slay the dragon of pride. I encourage you to meditate on the following verses from the Book of Proverbs. These principles from God’s Word, linked with the Holy Spirit’s power, will help you slay the dragon of pride. Ask God to change your heart by these truths:
When pride comes, disgrace follows, but with humility comes wisdom. [Proverbs 11:2]
Arrogance leads to nothing but strife, but wisdom is gained by those who take advice. [Proverbs 13:10]
The Lord destroys the house of the proud, but He protects the widow’s territory. [Proverbs 15:25]
Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall. [Proverbs 16:18]
Better to be lowly of spirit with the humble than to divide plunder with the proud. [Proverbs 16:19]
A person’s pride will humble him, but a humble spirit will gain honor. [Proverbs 29:23]
