God’s love is genuine. It is unselfish, unconditional, unending, unwavering and unfailing. John 3:16 says that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son! God’s love is not something that you deserve or can earn. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “for it is by grace you have been saved through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” It is not possible for God to love us anymore than He already does. God truly loves us and nothing can change that. What we need to do is to fully receive His love and accept that truth.
God’s forgiveness is complete. 1 John 1:7 says, “and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin” and 1 John 1:9 reads, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” God has the capacity to forgive and forget. We need to let Him help us do the same.
God is always with us. At times we may be lonely but we are never alone. In Hebrews 13:5, God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Omnipresent is one of God’s divine attributes. 1 Corinthians 3:16 reads, “Don’t you know that you yourself are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” Since God is always with us, what else do we need? You think about that.
