LOVING JESUS
Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live. [2 Corinthians 5:14 NLT]
We love Him as a result of His loving us first. [1 John 4:19 NLT]
The more we love Jesus; The more we walk in the fullness of His Spirit; The easier it will be for us to say no to selfish desires and yes to God.
We know that God loves us unconditionally and as our love for God grows, we will not want to offend Him. We will not want to grieve the Holy Spirit. We will want to do what God wants us to do, and obedience will give us great joy in our journey. Remember our walk with God is progressive and we do get better and better, as we continue in His Word. You may not be where you want to be, but thank God, you are not where you used to be. Can you say amen to that? Give Him praise and have a great day, His love is eternal.
